curriculum - overview

Dr. Woodson has two curriculums, the Roots of Rhythm (ROR) and Roots of Melody (ROM). Written for the Percussion Marketing Council between 2004-2009, the Roots of Rhythm is a 16-chapter, world drumming curriculum available for free download at Roots of Rhythm curriculum.

As a companion to ROR, Dr. Woodson has written ROM to present the historic, social, geographic, artistic and musical development of strings and winds instruments through easy-to-make instruments that are graded for the K-12 classroom. While this is not online as is the ROR curriculum, those who take the course will get a hard copy.
