ROOTS OF RHYTHM (ROR) - make and play world drums and idiophones
This hands-on workshop is an introduction to Dr. Woodson's sixteen
chapter world drumming curriculum that includes instrument making
and play along exercises. Hundreds of teachers and thousands of
students now use this multidisciplinary material that addresses K-12
content standards through lessons in music, social studies,

D. ROOTS OF MELODY (ROM) - make and play world strings and wind
instruments
Dr. Woodson's new companion to ROR, called the Roots of Melody,
brings the story of melody to life through strings, winds and
related vocal techniques. Teachers will learn how to make and play
sixteen simple instruments from around the world through lessons in
music, history, science, social studies, geography and art. This
practical, hands-on approach is ready for immediate use in the K-12
classroom.
